Regeneration is the ability to heal wounds at a faster rate then humans, or healing wounds that would scar or even kill regular humans. There are several levels of regeneration, the higher levels of which can extend to beyond physical wounds. Also called a "healing factor"


Low: Can regenerate normal wounds faster than normal humans

Examples: Naruto from Naruto, Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files, Spiderman from Marvel


Mid-Low: Can regenerate wounds that would leave large scars

Examples: Kratos from God of War, Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden


High-Low: Able to regenerate small missing parts like fingers, toes, ears, etc

Examples: Blade from Marvel


Low-Mid: Can regenerate missing limbs and organs. Still die from decapitation

Examples: Primarchs and Tyranid Carnifexes from Warhammer 40K, Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear


Mid: Can regenerate from decapitation

Examples: Piccolo from DragonBall Z


High-Mid: Can regenerate from being blown to peices

Examples: Dio Brando from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, Blackheart from Marvel Movies, Durge from Star Wars, Ghost Rider from Marvel, Abigail from Bastard!!


Low-High: Able to regenerate from a small amount of blood left, or a small peice of your body remaining

Examples: Pre Schrodinger Alucard from Hellsing, Cell from DragonBall Z


Mid-High: Able to regenerate from vaporisation or being reduced to dust

Examples: Buu from DragonBall Z, Hulk from Marvel (dependant on the form), Dark Samus from Metroid


High: Can regenerate from a single molecule/atom/particle

Examples: Anthrax from Bastard!!, Lobo from DC Comics


Godly: Can regenerate instantaneously, so fast that decapitation/dissection/amputation is not possible

Examples: Dante from Devil May Cry


Low-Godly: Can regenerate from having your entire body destroyed as long as your soul/conciousness still exists from other dimensions

Examples: Greater Daemons, Daemon Princes and Chaos Horus from Warhammer 40K, Jedah Dohma from Darkstalkers, Dark Schneider from Bastard!!, Spawn from Image Comics, Sauron from Lord of the Rings, Ganondorf from Legend of Zelda (dependant on the incarnation), Mephisto, Blackheart and various other Hell Lords from Marvel


Mid-Godly: Able to regenerate from non-existence

Examples: Schrodinger Alucard from Hellsing, Doomsday from DC Comics


High-Godly: Able to regenerate even if your existence is erased and the universe/dimension you originate from is destroyed

Examples: Swamp Thing from DC Comics
