Using the amount of energy I acquired from my blog post, Energy required to atomize a space pirate, I took a quick look on the duration of time a fully charged plasma beam would last when hitting a target.  I slowed down this video by a quarter, which I ended up with 118 milliseconds twice using a stopwatch. I then took this number and multiplied it by 25% to get 29.5 milliseconds, which is equal to 0.0295 seconds. Since watts are in joules per second, I took the amount of energy from the plasma beam and divided this by 29.5 milliseconds, which gave me 322 gigawatts. This is approximately 86% times electric power of all nuclear power plants.
